Ahead of its 13th anniversary celebrations, Gallery Security Services Limited, a subsidiary of the Bibopere Group, has rolled out an elaborate three-day programme that includes community medical outreach, youth engagement summit and providing succour for some families of its departed personnel.

Chairman of the anniversary organising committee, Barr. Barakumo Kpemi, said in a statement that the medical outreach would be conducted at the Bradama International Skill Works premises at Agadagba-Obon in Ese-Odo Local Government Area of Ondo State on November 20.

Kpemi stated that it would cover free check-up, basic treatment, drug dispensing, and health education for residents of coastal communities in the area.

“We have engaged the services of doctors, nurses, and volunteers to attend to hundreds of the locals. There would be awareness talk, screening, common investigation, essential drug distribution, and counselling.

“The outreach is part of Gallery Security’s wider anniversary programme and focuses on extending the company’s impact beyond operations into humanitarian service,” he said.

The organising committee chairman further stated that a “Youth in Coastal Defence Summit” would also hold on November 19 at the company’s premises in Agadagba-Obon.

“The focus is to strengthen waterways security and community safety by tackling illegal bunkering, sea piracy, drug abuse, kidnapping, and youth violence in the riverine areas,” he said.

Key participants at the summit are drawn from the Nigerian Navy, the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency, Customs, Immigration, Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corps, and other relevant government and community bodies.

The anniversary, which celebrates Gallery Security’s milestones and its contribution to peace and community safety over the years, would be rounded off on November 21 with an awards and recognition ceremony for its serving personnel and the families of some departed staff.
