BREAKING: APC’S Aiyedatiwa Wins Ondo Guber Election

The Independent National Electoral Commission INEC has declared the candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa, as winner of the Ondo State governorship election.

Aiyedatiwa polled 366,781 votes, to beat the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate, Mr Agboola Ajayi, who scored 117,835 to place a distant second place. Aiyedatiwa also won all the 18 local government areas of the state.

The announcement was made by Prof. Oluyemi Durotimi Akinwunmi, the Returning Officer, during the final collation of results held under the supervision of Mrs. Oluwatoyin Babalola, the Ondo State Resident Electoral Commissioner.
