The National Headquarters of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Wadata Plaza, Abuja, witnessed a momentous event today, Monday, as Rt. Hon. Philip Shaibu, the Deputy Governor of Edo State, actively participated in the screening of party aspirants. This significant event, marked a crucial step towards determining the party’s candidates for the upcoming elections.
Other distinguished aspirants present at the screening were Ogbeide Ihama, Asue Ighodalo, Anslem Ojezua, Felix Akhabue, Hadiza Umoru and Onaiwu.
The screening committee, chaired by Caleb Manasseh Mutfwang, the governor of Plateau State, diligently carried out a thorough and meticulous exercise. The committee’s goal was not only to ensure the eligibility of aspirants but also to maintain the integrity and values of the PDP.
Gov. Caleb Manasseh Mutfwang, speaking on behalf of the screening committee, emphasized the importance of a peaceful and cooperative process.
