Epictetus was not alone in his reverence for education; Plato, another luminary of Greek philosophy, shared his sentiments on the profound benefits of learning. Plato believed that neglecting education left individuals crippled, hobbling through life with a profound sense of lack. For these philosopher-kings, education was not merely a tool for personal growth but a pathway to justice, both on an individual and societal level.
In the vibrant landscape of Cross River State, Governor Bassey Otu stands as a torchbearer of this noble philosophy, aligning his vision with the profound insights of Epictetus and Plato to ensure that neither the state nor its youth stumble through life in ignorance.
