    Government Special Announcement

    The Governor of Rivers State, His Excellency, Sir Siminalayi Fubara, GSSRS, has approved the appointment of the following persons as Special Advisers:
    Barrister Eloka Tasie-Amadi,
    Professor Peter Medee,
    Barrister Emmanuel Frank Fubara,
    Hon. Victor Ekaro, and
    Dr. Darlington Oji.
    The appointees will be formally sworn in on Friday, January 2, 2026, at the Executive Council Chambers of Government House, Port Harcourt, at noon prompt.
    Those to be sworn-in are expected to be seated by 11:30 a.m.
