The Elephants of Cote d’Ivoire, on Sunday, defeated the Super Eagles of Nigeria at the final of AFCON 2023 in Abidjan.
Nigeria’s stand-in Captain, William Troost-Ekong, scored for Nigeria through a header in the 38th minute.
But F. Kessié equalised in the 62nd minute while S. Haller scored the winning goal for Cote d’Ivoire in the 81st minute.
