CONDOLENCE MESSAGE ON THE DEMISE OF FORMER PRESIDENT MUHAMMADU BUHARI, GCFR
I write to express, on behalf of the Government and people of Kogi State, our deepest condolences to Your Excellency, the bereaved family, the government and the good people of Katsina State over the painful loss of Nigeria’s former President and our father, His excellency Muhammadu Buhari, GCFR.
The passing of President Buhari is a monumental loss. He was a patriot, a man of uncommon discipline and integrity, and a leader who devoted his life to the service of our great nation. From his sterling military career to his democratic leadership as President of the federal Republic of Nigeria, President Buhari exemplified courage, selflessness, and unquestionable commitment to the unity of our nation.
In Kogi State, we recall with respect and gratitude the support and attention President Buhari extended to our developmental efforts during his time in office. His legacy will continue to inspire generations of leaders who believe in service above self.
We pray that the Almighty Allah (SWT) forgives his shortcomings, grant him Aljanah Firdaus, and strengthens his beloved family and the entire people of Katsina State in this moment of grief.
Please accept, Your Excellency, the assurances of my profound sympathy.
Yours Sincerely,
H.E ALHAJI AHMED USMAN ODODO
Executive Governor,
Kogi State.
