Ogun Exco Approves 7 Roads, ‘Revenue House,’ Confirms Traditional Rulers

The Ogun State Executive Council, at its Friday meeting presided over by Governor Dapo Abiodun, approved key infrastructural projects and traditional leadership appointments to accelerate development across the state.

Approved Roads (across 3 senatorial districts):

  • Molipa Expressway Roundabout–Ibadan Garage (Ijebu-Ode) – 2.3km
  • Bible College Road, Ota – additional works
  • Ajaka Road via Awolowo Market, Sagamu – 870m
  • Gbadebo St./Hospital Rd., Ayegbami, Sagamu – 900m
  • Okenla Street, Ijebu-Ode – 0.53km
  • Yemogun Street, Ogere (Ikenne LGA) – 1.25km
  • Carwash–Moore Junction (Adatan, Abeokuta) – reconstruction

The projects will ease traffic, improve connectivity, and boost economic activities.

Council also approved the reconstruction and completion of Block E, State Secretariat (Phase 1), now renamed “Revenue House,” to strengthen revenue generation and improve efficiency.

  • Prince Raheem Afolabi Ogunlaja – Nnoku of Iraye
  • Prince Tajudeen Adeoye Olukunle – Onisale of Isale, Gbokoto
  • Prince Obajimi Sunday Olatunji – Alodo of Ado
  • Prince Dr. Adesegun Adedapo Ogunsola – Lowa Ibu of Batoro
  • Prince (Elder) Moses Oludotun Fadairo – Baale of Orile Oko
