Cross River State Governor, His Excellency, Senator (Prince) Bassey Edet Otu, has approved the appointment of Barr. Eyo Nsa Ekpo as Chairman, Cross River Social Investment Programme (SIP). Barr. Ekpo, is a seasoned legal practitioner and public policy expert.
Similarly, His Excellency has approved the appointment of Dr. Calistus Aruku as Chairman, Cross River State Youth Empowerment Scheme (YES). Dr. Aruku, is an accomplished scholar and development strategist.
Governor Otu described both appointments as a deliberate step towards institutionalizing people-centred governance and deepening the culture of merit, capacity, and excellence. He charged the appointees to discharge their duties with diligence, integrity, and vision.
