Indeed, Scale Up was a mountain of transformation. Light was shed, questions were answered, and clear instructions were given on how to run a profitable school that remains rooted in Christian values while operating with effective systems.
To begin with, the programme opened with a powerful remark by the National Director, Pastor Olusegun Oludipe. He emphasised the importance of branding, explaining that every school must intentionally package itself to present a strong and credible image to parents and students.
In addition, he encouraged schools to leverage ICT and social media to improve visibility and remain competitive. He further stressed that branding is not about exaggeration but about clarity of identity, consistency in communication, and delivering on promises, noting that parents are drawn to schools that clearly define their values and consistently reflect them in culture and performance.
Following this, Mr. Peter Triumphant delivered a strategic session on development and branding. He stressed the need for a dedicated growth team within every school, pointing out that vision alone is not enough. According to him, intentional structures must drive partnerships, system improvement, and expansion.
Furthermore, he reminded participants that branding goes beyond logos and colours, it reflects the total experience people have with a school. He added that sustainable growth requires measurable targets, deliberate networking, and continuous evaluation, explaining that schools must treat development as a daily responsibility rather than a seasonal project.
Subsequently, Evang. Gbademoosi spoke on structure and continuity. She described structure as the backbone of any thriving institution, warning that without clear roles and accountability, even the strongest vision can collapse. In addition, she highlighted succession planning, encouraging proprietors to involve their families to ensure sustainability across generations.
She also emphasised documentation, policy formulation, and leadership grooming, stating that when systems are written and properly implemented, institutions can survive transitions and leadership changes without losing direction.
Thereafter, Coach Wale challenged schools to embrace the future through an Online Academy model. He painted a picture of a school without walls, one that reaches beyond its physical environment into the digital space. According to him, online presence is no longer optional, it is essential for growth and increased revenue. He also introduced the idea of a thrift system among parents and encouraged rewarding excellence through scholarships and financial incentives. Expanding on this, he explained that digital platforms create multiple income streams, widen student reach, and strengthen brand authority, while structured financial models within the school community can improve stability and trust.
Meanwhile, Engr. Fijabi addressed the issue of attitude and personal growth. He introduced the 4Ps, Purpose, Passion, Patience, and Perseverance, as foundations for sustainable success. He explained that purpose brings clarity, passion fuels consistency, patience builds character, and perseverance guarantees results. He further encouraged participants to cultivate a learning mindset, noting that leaders must be willing to relearn, adapt to change, and remain resilient in the face of setbacks if they desire long-term impact.
Finally, Professor Jaunice concluded with a stirring reminder of the spiritual mandate of Christian education. She emphasised that academic excellence must be balanced with strong moral and spiritual foundations, urging schools to intentionally raise students who can stand boldly for their faith. She reinforced the need for consistent spiritual instruction, mentorship, and value-based discipline, explaining that true success in Christian education is measured not only by examination results but also by the character and conviction of the students produced.
In summary, Scale Up 2026 was more than a conference, it was a catalyst for transformation. Through structured teachings, practical insights, and engaging sessions, participants left equipped to build schools that are profitable, well-structured, spiritually grounded, and positioned for long-term impact.
