“News of the passing of Miss Somtochukwu Maduagwu has reached me with great sadness. Somtochukwu distinguished herself by her intellect, poise, and commitment to professional journalism. That a life so young, so full of promise and energy, should be cut short is a painful reminder of the fragility of human existence.
“Though her career was brief, she brought freshness and vitality to the newsroom, and her presence on Arise News left a mark on viewers across the country. Her untimely death is not only a loss to your esteemed organisation, but also to the Nigerian media community, which counts on young talents like hers to strengthen its future.
“On behalf of the Government and people of Imo State, I extend my heartfelt condolences to you, to the Arise News team, and above all, to her family. May you all find strength in this difficult moment, and may her memory continue to inspire young professionals to pursue excellence in journalism with the same passion she exemplified.
“Please accept, dear Chairman, the assurances of my highest regards.”
