The national leader of the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC), Senator Henry Seriake Dickson, has called on party members to unite and work collectively for the success of the party’s candidates at all levels, following two days of talks with its presidential candidate and his running mate.

Dickson made this known in a late night post, Thursday, on his verified FB page. He disclosed that he met with the party’s Presidential Candidate, Mr Peter Obi, and the running mate, Dr Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, alongside the National Chairman and other party leaders, in continuation of consultations and deliberations on issues concerning the party and the nation.

He noted that the party had met two days ago and met again yesterday (Thursday) to further deliberate and finalise decisions, particularly as preparations continue for the unveiling of the party’s Campaign Council ahead of the 2027 general elections.

Senator Dickson appealed to all stakeholders, aspirants and members of the party to close ranks, adding: “At this critical stage, I call on all stakeholders, aspirants and members of our great Party to unite, close ranks and work collectively for the success of our candidates at all levels, from top to bottom.”
