The Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, candidate for the forthcoming gubernatorial election in Edo State, Dr Asue Ighodalo, has sent heartfelt birthday wishes to former Governor of Edo State, Chief Lucky Igbinedion, on his 67th birthday anniversary.
Ighodalo, in a message made available to GrandNews Online, wished the former governor, who he called an elder statesman, good health, happiness and abundant grace of longevity.
“Chief Lucky Igbinedion is a man I honestly admire as a leader and an elder statesman. He is one of the finest gentleman I know in and outside politics. He has served people of the state and has contributed his quota to the development of the state in different capacities: from being a local government chairman, to being the executive governor of the state. His contributions to our party, PDP, cannot be estimated. On this propitious day, I join all well-meaning Edo sons and daughters, family as well as well-wishers, to wish him a happy birthday anniversary.
“May God grant you all your hearts desires, including happiness, good health and above all, love. I wish you many happy returns”, part of the message read.
