Governor of Delta State, Rt Hon Sheriff Oborevwori has sent the name of Ekemejero Ohwovoriole to the State House of Assembly to be confirmed as the State’s Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice.
Governor Oborevwori also has sent the name of Ifeanyi Osuoza to the State House of Assembly to be confirmed as the Commissioner for Information.
Also, Kanemala Penewou has been nominated to be confirmed as Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs.
This is coming barely a week after the Supreme Court of Nigeria affirmed Oborevwori as the duly elected Governor of Delta State.
Governor Oborevwori forwarded the three names to the Speaker of the State of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Emomotimi Guwor on Tuesday.
Ohwovoriole, who was among the lawyers that successfully prosecuted the legal suits challenging the election of Governor Oborevwori, hails from Olomu Kingdom in Ughelli South Local Government.
On the other hand, Osuoza was the Publicity Secretary of the Delta State chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
