Defending the administration’s record, Tinubu said his government had fulfilled its campaign promises and placed Nigeria on the path of economic progress.
“We have delivered on our campaign promises and set our country on a path of economic progress,” the President said.
According to him, the country was now “out of the dark tunnel” and approaching the benefits of a prosperous economy.
Tinubu urged members of the campaign council to use the campaign period to highlight the administration’s achievements and inspire Nigerians across the country.
“As we march into the campaign season, we have many achievements to trumpet—let us confidently showcase our record and inspire hope in every corner of our nation,” he said.
The President further charged the campaign team to defeat opposition forces seeking to return the country to what he described as the past.
“Let us soundly defeat all those forces who plan to take our country backwards,” Tinubu said.
